At Junophoto we love photographing weddings in Old Montreal, especially at the Science Center! Their rooms are so luminous, it’s perfect for our photographic style!
Every summer we have the chance to go there. Last September it was for Lorraine and Daniel’s romantic and modern wedding. If you haven’t seen their engagement session yet, you can check it out here 😉
First of, we met our bride and her bridal party at a loft in old Montreal for getting ready. To incoporate some of Lorraine’s family traditions, her bridal party organized fun challenges for the groom and his groomsmen. And since Lorraine started the day with her traditionnal dress we were able to capture a couple portrait shots in the streets of old Montreal.
Then we headed towards the Science Center for bridal party pictures in the panoramic hall . The venue was simply perfect to capture their bridesmaid and groomsmen as well as their family. The ceremony was then held at the Passerelle room.
One of our favorite moments of that day is definitely when we were able to get outside during cocktail time for some beautiful sunset pictures. The amazing crew of HSWARD came along and we went to our new favorite spot in Montreal’s old port (pictures below) to photograph the newlyweds.
Taking a look at the decor, we just love the color palette used here. Therefore the flowers, glasses, cutelry give a romantic feel to the modern look of the Science Center. All this thanks to their wedding planner Maxine from A gorgeous fête who designed the event and the flowers!
On another note, 2019 wedding season is upon us! Finaly we can’t wait to share with you our next weddings and engagement sessions!
