Susy + Richard
Last year we had the chance to meet Susy and Richard during their engagement session at the Mount Royal. Since then, we were looking forward to be the big day!
The morning of the wedding we met Susy at her stylish loft in the Old Montreal, in front of St. Patrick’s Basilica, where the ceremony was held. Surrounded by her Italian family, Susy’s getting ready were full of laughter and good humor. It did not take long before at least twenty relatives were present during the preparations, between champagne and laughter, everything was perfect! Susy’s dress designed by Anne Jean-Michel, was worthy of a fairy tale princess. The bouquets consisted of white flowers that contrasted nicely with the short and black bridesmaids’s dresses
When is was time for the couple’s pictures, what a surprise to see Richard get out two pairs of custom “Just married” Nike shoes for him and Susy. It was so cute and quirky that all the tourists that passed by laughed at so much originality!
The reception at the Science Center located in the Old Port of Montreal did not fail to amaze the guests with it’s clean, white and elegant decor, playing with transparencies and reflections. A amazing job designed the talented Zeina Issa event planning and design!
The evening was highlighted by many funny speeches. We laughed a lot, especially during Richard’s father’s speech, who has a gift for mimicry! Not to mention the guests that had to sing for the bride and groom to kiss.
After dinner, the music for the first dance was performed by a live music band. At midnight, different foods were presented to the guest. Between poutine, smoked meat and beaver tale, there was something for everyone’s taste, a great way to enjoy the rest of the night!
