Catherine and Yvon’s colorful wedding published in Wedding Bells magazine

Last June, on the 24th, it was St Jean-Baptiste and also the celebration of Catherine and Yvon’s wedding. We are thrilled to finally share it with you on the blog and the Spring Summer issue of  Wedding Bells magazine, that just came out this Monday.

As soon as we arrived the ambiance was fun and festive ( which was all day!) While Catherine was getting her makeup done by  Charlotte Marie Flannery, her bridesmaids were serving mimosas in personnalised glass ( what I good idea!) You can also note the cute bridesmaids robes and the mismatch bridemaids dress that fitted perfectly together. On the groom side, it was fun picture posing with all the groomsmen ( in baseball outfit, whaaaat?!!)

Ceremony and reception took place and Espace Canal but before was planned the first look at park Sir George Etienne Cartier in St Henri. We took some bride and groom portraits as well in the park and then head to Espace Canal for more pictures with the bridal party. After the tea ceremony to incorporate family traditions they had an official ceremony officiated by Yvon’s brother. The most crucial moment during a ceremony, in our opinion, is the exchange of the vows, it’s usually where there’s a lot of emotions. This time what exactly that and we got all the feels, a lot of laughter too!

Reception was also quite fun and touching with many speeches. Like previously said the ambiance was very festive and all the guests were going crazy on the dancefloor thanks to the awesome music by DJ Pierre Belliveau ( the best! )

We wish so much happyness to Catherine et Yvon, it’s obvious they are meant for each other, we had the chance to witness it all day and enjoy what was truly a “love party” (in the bride’s own words in  Wedding Bells Magazine).  It was such a great wedding thanks to all the amazing vendors  ( credits down below) as well as the amazing work of the team of from  Héra Mariage that planned and coordinated the Big Day.

We invite you to read the inspirations and ideas behind this wonderful and colorful wedding in the Spring/Summer issue of  Magazine Wedding Bells.
