The Story

At the beginning of the month, we were in Las Vegas to attend WPPI, conferences and workshops for portrait and wedding photographers. We took the opportunity to meet Noëmi and Eric to realize their wedding anniversary session! Noëmi and Eric are talented circus artists (they met  at The National Circus School of Montreal) and got married in Montreal last spring. It was my friend and colleague Linda from Lovely Poenies who had the chance to photograph their beautiful wedding. Therefore it’s also with her that we realized this session to commemorate their first year anniversary. Let me tell you, we had so much fun!

Visiting Las Vegas to perform, the couple were able to meet with us tand discover part of Nevada. We wanted to get out of the “strip” in Las Vegas and explore the nature that surrounds it. After an inspiring location scouting, we finally decided to realize the session at Red Rock Canyon. It amazed us with his incredible unique scenery! Rocks and the earth have rosy hues and vegetation is rare, such a gorgeous place!

We love to travel and follow couples around the world to capture unique moments! Either engagement session, wedding anniversaries and of course, weddings. This spring you will discover on the Junophoto blog the engagement session of Leslie and Stephen in Brooklyn, New York. Stay tuned!

Why do a anniversary session?

We really love the idea of having a wedding anniversary session! It allows to create romantic photos in a different and original place from your wedding day. You can remember the emotion of that day and of course wear your beautiful wedding dress once again! In addition, just like the engagement session, this photoshoot is stress free. Unlike the wedding day, we don’t have to respect a specific schedule. You can allow yourself to fully be in the moment, remembering how in love you both are!

To conclude

We would like to thank Noëmi and Eric for their beautiful selves and braving the cold. It might not show in the photos but the weather was pretty cool, especially at sunset! We also would like to thank the Montreal designer Lisa Abi Chedid dresses for the Ashley skirt set and the Audrey bustier (which you can find at the great Dream It Yourself) without forgetting Bloominous for kindly giving us fresh flowers. I also invite you to discover the photos of Lovely Peonies.

I hope you will enjoy this session as much as we did!
